Music Teaching.
I teach one to one percussion sessions with a range of young people. I have a unique skill set and adapt my teaching style to the young person I am working with. I specialise in working with young people with special educational needs and teach in SEND schools. I also teach group percussion sessions with groups of children and adults, introducing them to different percussion patterns including swing, rock and samba using body percussion. I have played in orchestras and brass bands for 20 years and support young percussionists when they are playing in an ensemble. I have been working with Camden Music Service who had some students with additional needs who were finding it hard to engage in the music sessions. I have been supporting them to explore how to develop their offer so that they have more ability to work with neurodiverse young people.
